Mamukala - Wetlands at Dusk and Dawn

We visited the Mamukala wetlands bird hide at dawn and dusk to see plumed whistling ducks, swamp hens, and rajah shelducks dabbling, squabbling, and digging beaks into the plants. In the morning, great flights of geese and ducks floated across the rising sun as the wetlands awoke.
