Hughie, our 4wd motorhome, is the perfect size for a snug fit between the trees and up and down the creeks on the way to the waterhole.
We had heard about big boy saltie at site 3. For most of the day we enjoyed just the view and only as Happy hour came did we spot big boy, 4.5 metres. Taking a quick look at us, he decided we were not fishos going to provide him a ready meal. he sank after just one photo.
In the previous campsite, our neighbours, quite a distance away, were young lads having the time of their life going fishing in their small tinny. they mentioned that the big resident croc was becoming a real pest, following their tinny, taking their fish, snapping their fishing line. they showed us a video of it. Wow!
