Jimboomba housesit with looney Luna

Whilst waiting around Brisbane for our departure to Polynesia, we took on a Jimboomba/Flagstone dogsit with border collie, Luna, an initially very timid sweetie who won our hearts. She was also a whizz at heading the ball multiple times in the air.







We had fun with our first go with a zero turn mower which needed a jumpstart from our Coaster gadget. Luna took violent dislike to the mower and had to be held back from attacking.



Then we discovered the less than fun aspects of the virulent fireants, an imported south american pest, which are spreading fast and gave us very nasty bites that swelled and came up in blisters.







All the neighbours popped over for a chat and we had invites for pizza, bowls, and even another housesit, but it's not something we do more than occasionally to cuddle doggos.
