Woohoo Uluru Dreaming

As the baked earth at Uluru was cooling down from a 42C afternoon into a gentle twilight, we took the Star Pass tour to the Field of Lights, below a dune overlooking Uluru. Excited guests babbled in Chinese, Italian, and more languages as we sipped sparkling wine and nibbled kangaroo sliders.

We saw the magic of the sunset being slowly replaced by multi-coloured displays of thousands of miniature, solar-powered globes spreading tendrils of light like pulsating drifts of flowers.

Wandering on pathways amongst all this beauty, individual drifts took on new form at each turn.
