Nosing around Noosa

We spent a week of glorious weather nosing around the coastal town of Noosa which offers waterscapes at every twist and turn.

A short drive from the chic shops and Parisian-style cafes of Hastings Street, leads to forest paths along the sandy beaches where the Noosa River meets the sea. 

We had fabulous ice cream cones from a vendor van beside the surfguard hut, and watched hired boats grounding at low tide on the sand bars before wriggling out with a bit of rocking and pushing.
