Lake St Clair - Tasmania

More super sunny days at Lake St Clair in the Cradle Mountain Lake St Clair National Park - a huge wilderness area in central Tasmania - where we went for lovely walks in the forests and along the lakeshore.

On our walk, we come across an echidna, a type of Australian hedgehog, hiding its nose and presenting its rear as a defence:

Sunrise over the lake was a delight:

Gen discovered her favourite bugs, including an amazingly camouflaged spider.

Finally, we pondered long and hard what this kangaroo was doing: was it vaguely sexual or mechanical? You be the judge!
