For Gen's 70th, we splurged on the special Tour de France tasting meal that took guests on a whirlwind tastebud tour of French dishes, ranging from lambs brains, carbonnade de boeuf, scallops, mussels with pernod, gougeres, to bourride de poissons, and divine petit fours - all washed down with Kir Royal and a Cabernet Sauvignon.
Ah, the meal last night was fabuleux, Tour de France, tour de force, right now recovering from food and drink coma!
Beforehand, on the very day 3rd October, it was a joy to celebrate at Bonadio with Mary and Hans.
