Dusk in the Pinnacles

Less than two hours' drive north of Perth, we visited The Pinnacles for some astro photography. This extraterrestrial looking landscape of 1000s of weathered limestone pillars, is in a national park which kindly permits entry after dark.

A fun, sandy track winds between the pillars and provides excellent views across the surreal region.

Wind swirls, stars twinkle, the moon shines, and a fox comes to sniff, as we set up for the evening show.
