Cape Hillsborough - Dirty Kangaroo Dancing
As the first rays of the morning sun flashed across the rugged beach, they illuminated a mob of wallabies peacefully scratching the surface of the sand.
A very large male hopped over to a female and made to jump on her. She cowered in a ball and clearly said no to the advances. The male moved to her head and started a rapid series of upper cuts progressively knocking her upright from chest to head. Next he peed, a generous spray full on over her face and front. She spluttered and retreated with her face screwed up in an expression of disdain.
Worth a feisty mention are the blue soldier crabs, one of which raced around avoiding Gen's paparazzi antics, until it stopped to make a stand with pincers at the ready.
