Gen's Birthday Fine Dining

Gen's world has revolved again and her birthday is this week. As an advance treat, Robert took her down to Mollymook and out for a special dinner at the Rick Stein restaurant called Bannisters.

This time we also had an impending move to tropical Cairns to celebrate too. So, we kicked off with a Kir Royal each, followed by a beautiful bottle of Shiraz to accompany Indonesian seafood curry and a traditional seafood pie. Dessert included a special happy birthday dish together with chocolate fondant and passionfruit brulee.







Next day, the sun was shining and the winds were blowing down at the beach where we had breakfast followed by a walk along the beach with the sea merging into the horizon in a myriad of colours.
