The full moon on Tuesday night, the
15th of November, was within a few kms of the closest it's been to
Earth since 1948, making it 100% size wise of the biggest and brightest
Supermoon to light up the night sky in more than 70 years.
A
dozen moongazers plus attendant mozzies gathered opposite Stack Island,
Minnamurra, to watch the sky twinkle, then see the orange disc swell upwards
from the horizon at sea.
Highlight was the stairway of sparkling waves with a carpet of light stretching to the shore at our feet.
